Jim Moran, MA Ed.

Jim is President The Learning Alliance Inc., SimplifyISO and is the Founder of the  International Management System Institute.

He has been teaching business professionals since 1977 and has been implementing ISO Management Systems since 1992. He's worked with Fortune 500 companies, small to medium sized businesses and the Federal Governments of Canada and Africa.

He has designed and delivered Lead Auditor (and other) courses for BSI, QMI (now SAI Global), SGS, CGSB and the CWB Group. He developed and delivered the Assessor Training Program for Medical Lab assessors who do medical lab accreditation assessments for IQMH - the Institute for Quality Management in Healthcare, Centre for Accreditation.

He served on PC 280 to help contribute to ISO 20700:2017 Guidelines for management consultancy services, a standard published for use as a guideline for people or organizations for the assessment of management consulting services.

September 2020 – JMS Warehousing/JDS International (Logistics) Sarnia ON, implementation of ISO 9001:2015 to gain a competitive edge in their market.

January 2019 –  Transition training for TODA Advanced Materials Inc. to ISO 9001:2015 and integrated ISO 14001:2015 to improve the effectiveness of their operation.

December 2018 – Implementation training for transition project: XL Tool to N299 – National Standard (Canada) for Suppliers to the Nuclear Industry

September 2018 – Trained CR Wall to ISO 9001:2015 and Measurement Canada S-A-01 Calibration Accreditation to maintain their licence to operate as a gas meter calibration service.

March 2018 – Trained Delta Machine and Tool (Ingersoll ON) to transition to ISO 9001:2015 to improve their standing with customers and improve their processes.

February 2018 – Trained Bell-Camp Mfg. (Ingersoll ON) to transition to ISO 9001:2015 (also included capability to meet ASME Standards)
